We dress up with Fiesta to go to Valencia!

We will be at Habitat Valencia from 19 to 22 September!

As we did in Milan, we are presenting a stand that pays homage to the origins of Sancal.

You could visit the 4 set designs inspired in the 70s vibes and El Tenderete, also installed in the central area of our stand, although this time the products on display are dressed in a new Fiesta textile. The fabric, designed together with Byborre to celebrate our 50th anniversary, adds two new colours: Fiesta Día and Fiesta Noche. They show rich textures in black and white for the first time in Habitat.

In addition, we are collaborating in two exhibitions that will also take place at the Habitat Valencia facilities.

20 years of Estudihac.

The Atelier of Jose Manuel Ferrero presents a selection of products designed during its trajectory on its 20th anniversary, where several pieces from Sancal, such as the iconic Magnum, our classic Tea or the much-missed Casta will be shown.

As could not be otherwise, the exhibition, “T{H}E DESIGN ATELIER”, has been designed by its creative director, Jose Manuel, where he wanted to transmit the essence of his work. A space that will represent a large design workshop, in which the creative processes for each of the pieces on display can be discovered. “The idea is not to present a series of completely finished products, but to discover the concept of each one of them, their creative, prototyping and assembly processes,” explains Jose Manuel.

Visit the exhibition at Level 3 Hall.

In addition, on Tuesday 19 September, Jose Manuel will be chatting with Marcel Benedito about his career, experiences and memories throughout the 20 years that his Atelier has just celebrated.

A near future?

Tachy Mora will take us to the exhibition “Escenarios de un Futuro Cercano” (Scenarios of a Near Future), in which the journalist and curator reflects on the future of homes. The exhibition shows pieces and domestic scenes that anticipate how our homes are changing after the pandemic and focuses on multifunctionality, modularity, nomadism and sustainability.

Sancal participates with the Link & Inflate Link in a totally speculative design exercise. Tachy rethinks the conventional use of domestic equipment, as does Link. And so does Link. Can a sofa offer new types of seating? Does it have to be solely for resting or can it also have a playful function? Why can’t a seat be a piece of art when it is not in use?

The exhibition will be located near the Ágora nude, in Pavilion 4 on Level 3 of Feria Valencia.

On Wednesday, Tachy will address the needs that arise when inhabiting the traditional concept of home and its evolution.
