The Spanish studio is inspired by boat cabins. Sancal furniture adds contrasted details to the interior.
The owners of this unique home, located within a 1970s building, aimed to capitalize on the breathtaking sea views. This was also the inspiration for the interiors, where structural elements reminiscent of a ship’s interior were reintegrated. Notably, porthole windows were incorporated to emulate both the internal and external views.
The kitchen, living room and dining room are designed as a single open space in which the doors are concealed so that they can be closed if needed by the family. The large windows flood every corner with natural light.
Pine wood, glass and ceramics are the surfaces materials chosen and the structural finishes, typical of Mediterranean architecture.
Warm colours dominate the surfaces and accessories, harmoniously blending with the neutral and natural tones of select furniture pieces to create a welcoming, pleasant, and relaxed atmosphere. The balance is subtly altered by unexpected spots of colour that bring dynamism and freshness into the space.
Totem discreet shapes are reinforced by the finishings like the Nude finish of the table and the two small stools with natural wood seats and a Chestnut lacquered structure.
We conclude the visit in the most private space of the house. In the bedroom we say goodbye to a Faces coffee table in Mango.
