This design by Ionna Vautrin preserves the subtle essence of a classic, just like the game from which it draws its inspiration.
Like the game, which combines strategy with creativity, Sancal redefines the Pion identity to present a more contemporary, commercial proposal.

New sizes
Pion is a versatile family of products. It works as an occasional table, in meeting room, at home as a dining table, in bistros or tea shops.
Pion family adds new sizes, both for the height of the base and for the tops. These additions complete the offer and consolidate it with versions for restaurants and cafeterias.
The D68 and 65×65 tops, combined with the H74 base, are ideal to create “Bistró” tables.
The “Lounge” tables with a height of H60, compatible with various top sizes, are perfect to combine with lounge chairs in cafés and lounge areas.
New materials
Pion Ash is the new wood finish for the tops and it’s available in all sizes. It can also be stained in all the colours from our range.
Pion Linden refers to the classic tilo veneer wood tops available only for the side tables.
And of course, we maintain the Pion Petra version with Emperador Gold and Carrara marble tops.
New colours
The bases renew their high-gloss lacquered colours and also incorporate new extra matte lacquers.
New options for the stool.
Stools have also been renewed. They are now available in 10 colours. They are completely lacquered matching with the upholstery leather for the seat.
