After a few months of hard but enjoyable work – we have knocked down walls, increasing the showroom considerably and added our our hallmark interior design. With our new products on display – our showroom in Madrid, El Garaje (the Garage), is ready to be presented in society.
And what a better way to relaunch this multifaceted space than appreciating the work of young up and coming Spanish designers?.
It is an important date for us because we support the well-known Spanish publication Neo2 in the New Designers Awards ceremony for young creators, 12 awards in the categories of fashion and habitat products.
Regarding to fashion scene, the winners are 44 Studio, Aceite de Palma, Alex Henkes, Chromosome Residence, Mans Concept & María Magdalena. The works of Goula Figuera, Max Enrich, Agus Kim, We are Forms, Álvaro Díaz & Achodoso have been recognized in product design category.
Jaime Hayon acted as a master of ceremonies, along with the spanish journalist Angie Rigueiro.
From Sancal, we support all those initiatives in which creativity and innovation enrich the Spanish design scene.
In addition to, and within the programming of Madrid Design Festival first edition, we collaborate with Neo2 in an exhibition in Galileo Cultural Center in Madrid, which will be open to the audience until February 27th, were the awarded works will be displayed together with a careful selection of Sancal products to delight the most curious eyes.
