The new offices of FOM, Russia’s Public Opinion Foundation are astonishing. Far from the cold grey spaces associated with government offices, the space is warm and inviting.
The employees have certainly noticed the difference, acknowledging that the atmosphere between colleagues has improved. Moreover, although it might seem like a paradox, they also confess that they work harder and find it easier to concentrate in the relaxed environment.
Sergey Larionov and his team of architects set out to give the traditionally stern business district of Moscow a human touch. The waiting room, with its 1+1 tables is housed in the great hall.
Within the offices themselves we find Tea and Nido chairs, as well as a Tecno sofa, giving the spaces a warm, personal appeal.
