Private time to think, talk or read.
Reading is an invitation to imagine or a learning opportunity. The written word is therapeutic as it has offered an escape route for many of us during COVID-19 lockdown. It has accompanied us in this uncertain time and it has allowed to live new experiences out of the home boundaries. Reading helps us stay active, takes care of our mental health and releases our emotions.
Our homes have not always been an intimate and quiet place from which to dive into the pages of a best-seller. And perhaps, instead of that essay or classic literature, you have short stories with the little ones.
Although Lapso is designed for bustling public areas, Sonia Pulido presents this vertical hammock as a sign of “do not disturb” ideal for the domestic chaos of lockdown, as it offers an intimate moment, even for a short time …
Lapso verticality adds one more unique feature, a new type of comfort for a short break at an airport or reflect quietly in the middle of an office.
Lapso is the result of the friendship and the collaboration between the French designers Antoine Lesur and Marc Venot, who joined talent and technical knowledge to design a vertical hammock which received an Hermès award for the Best Author design in 2014.
