Estudio Sancal introduces new Scenes showcasing the versatility of the firm’s collection. The Blank Canvas Scene continues to the thread that guides us from one scene to another, as well as working area, just as it did in Milan.
Each of the 4 new scenes represents an aesthetic approach to show the chameleon-like essence of the brand and exemplify the versatility of its products. The same piece of furniture can form part of a multitude of spaces and adapt itself to different styles depending on the configuration or finishes chosen. Each project is an opportunity to imagine and invent new relationships with our furniture and the environment.
What are these new Scenes?
In a very conceptual way, with just a few decorative elements and the dramatic effect of large curtains, each scene takes on an aesthetic vibe. The Folk Scene reinterprets tradition by mixing textures and dark tones with popular prints. Metallic details for the Tech Scene which shows a very refined, almost minimal style, with very restrained notes of colour. Mid-20th century modernity inspires the Modern Scene, which revives the period’s glamour and style. Finally, an explosion of colour and geometries for the Pop Scene in which curved, soft and organic silhouettes predominate.
¿Qué productos podrás ver en Habitat?
New shapes and fresh silhouettes are part of the latest products. And also very functional. Artistic proposals such as Loop & Link by Raw Color, two families of seats united by the geometry of the cylinder to rethink the conventional shapes of a sofa. Or the surprising Faces tables by Nathan Yong, depending on the perspective a friendly face or an abstract piece can be appreciated.
Sylvain Willenz’s Body chair is a versatile, unique structure which offers unlimited possibilities for customisation thanks to the choice of bases and finishes. Momic and Elle Mini are Rafa Garcia’s recent designs. While the first of them is a wide and elegant sectional sofa programme, the new version of the Elle lounge chair reduces its options to only two singular finishes.
New Maxi and Mini versions of Duo’s seating range, as well as the new colours, finishes and sizes for Pion range of occasional tables by Ionna Vautrin will be also on the exhibition.
In addition, the Tonella lounge chair extends this iconic family with a Maxi version, which offers wider, comfortable seating.
