Fashion, furniture and… action

Design as a lifestyle and identity.

Fashion and interior design have never been so closely linked as in recent years. Both are a way of expressing individuality, part of a personal lifestyle. These industries, linked to the field of design (sometimes bordering on the artistic), create beautiful and unique objects, capable of moving and engaging people. The creativity offered by both is almost infinite: playful volumes and shapes, patterns and colours combined to break the mold and get away from conventions.

More and more frequently fashion and furniture share the spotlight in editorials, where models, actor or singers not only showcase trends but also act as a mirror of a diverse society.

We have selected a series of photographs in which fashion and furniture share settings, whether they are refined and elegant or casual and provocative.

Nathy Peluso X Metal Magazine.

An electric photoshoot in which the artist, Nathy Peluso, shares the stage with the Remnant chair to illustrate her interview for Metal Magazine. The powerful images of this iconic tandem leave no one indifferent.

Ovidi Benet designed this fantastic set in which the Grammy Award nominee shows her most sensual and sincere side, dressed by the stylist Fer Sempere, who chose a dress from the signature ONRUSHW23FH as well as the SIMUERO earrings and rings.

Martinelli SS21.

Martinelli footwear took the shots its next Spring-Summer collection catalogue in our premises. Under the motto “Live Elegant”, its designs found the perfect aesthetic counterpoint amongst sculptural pieces as the Totem stool, the Roll chair or the Remnant armchair.

For this new season, the firm once again puts the comfort of its shoes as the main maxim. Two-tone loafers, printed sandals and sneakers are just some of the items we were first to meet during the session in our showroom.

Sharp Magazine, editorial de moda.

The incomparable Saint George Hotel in Toronto is the setting chosen by Sharp Magazine for this stylish report, an atmosphere in which saturated colours predominate to create a sophisticated and timeless environment.

The elegant looks by stylist Matthew Chow include suits and accessories from firms like Boss, Ermegildo Zegna or Cos and share a shot with the Elephant pouf and the Tonella sofa. Photographs by Renata Kaveh.

Neo2 x Sancal.

If anyone understands the links between fashion and design, it is the Spanish publication Neo2. It’s usual to find editorials that illustrate the aesthetic diversity of both industries on its pages.

In the PEOPLE & THINGS WITH SANCAL editorial, furniture and clothing were the main protagonists in an almost non-existent environment. The Magnum armchair, the La Isla sofa or the Pion table shared the set together with fashion garments like hoodies, leather jackets or beanies from firms such as Louis Vuitton, Ikks, Love Moschino or Converse. Fashion editor and stylist Javier de Juanas, as well as José Morraja‘s cameraman, signed this free and easy story.

On another occasion, the Spanish publication Neo2 choose our showroom, El Garaje, for a fashion editorial with the Spanish actor Silvia Alonso, in what they describe as “one of the most cinematographic spaces in Madrid”.

We were witnesses of the bustle during the production, in which stylists, makeup artists, photographers and other assistants worked hard between our furniture and COSAS accessories, surrounded by glitter, feathers and a lot of fashion. Playful textures, prints and colours were combined. Garments by Miu Miu, Emilio Pucci, Gucci and Sketchers slippers and furniture such as the Pion table, the Tortuga armchair or the Tonella sofa were photographed for this vibrant production in which Javier de Juanas was the stylist and Alfono Ohnur the photographer.

Sancal’s lastest collaboration with Neo2 was for the Furnished Bodies: Home design and fashion without additives. For this production, they decided to photograph each piece with people without a large stage as a backdrop.

For the shoot, the models wore DSQUARED garments and the Diwan chaise was upholstered in Marc Thorpe’s Husk fabric for Febrik / Kvadrat. On this occasion the stylists were Javier Lozoya and Gema Martin and the Antarctic photography studio.
